There in front of us sat several decadent cakes and pastries that it was hard to pass up. When the waitress came over to our table with a tray of dessert options, we felt like royalty. The hint of paprika sprinkled on each piece of chicken added a quick zing to your taste buds. The plate had a generous amount of sauce for dipping and the chicken was tender and juicy.

I ordered the Chicken Espanata which included organic chicken breast topped with spinach, vine tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, red roasted peppers and artichoke hearts served in a lemon white wine sauce and paired with whipped garlic mashed potatoes. The pink and white color palette of the rooftop is clean and polished, and no matter which room we passed or area we looked into, we wished we could dine in all of them. They provided an uplifting ambience that would stay present no matter what decoration theme was in place. The pink cherry blossom trees, however, were my favorite. This green oasis is as welcoming and inviting as the staff at Cava. Up on the roof, one is able to escape away to Neverland where “Peter Pan” shaped shrubbery is there to greet you. Cava in Southington is known for its exquisite dining experience complete with mind-blowing decorations.
